FIJA activism is better known as the Fully Informed Jury Association and this very important in the world that we are living in today. The informed part in Fija is a word and description that is best explained as a juror`s right qua human being to have the authority and power to reverse laws that are unjust and unfair and the best way to do this is by returning not guilty verdicts in spite of the law that beckons in our country so that we can serve this not guilty verdict on the basis of morality and a moral principle.
FIJA activism has a prime argument that faces all of us and the point of discussion has always been what exactly the responsibility of the juror is. People argue that the prime responsibility of the juror is to determine the matters of fact and the things that are relevant and important while leaving the matter of the law to the judges to decide on what is the right verdict. However, the argument is further discussed and argued that the important factor when deciding on how a trial is supposed to go is based on whether the law that is judging is based on moral principles or not. Nothing is perfect and we all know that, in order to become better it is very important that more people practice and practice it on a consistent basis. This way the FIJA activism would ensure that the unjust laws be exposed for the cruelty that that they enforce. Once the practice increases, the chances of civil obedience and a decrease in the non violent acts would be better for the nation and the citizens of the country would refuse to help any more in their oppression cast.
FIJA can be considered the only way that the citizens can fight against the government by enforcing their own laws in this as a juror. In order to get your way, there are chances that you need to be a slave but at least then you don`t have to participate in the continuation of your own repression. In order for this to happen, the best way to go about is to understand the principled approach that you need to pursue in order to nullify the unfair laws and explain the position to people so that they have a better understanding of this. One more thing that can be done is to explain to people that they do not need to take part in the unjust activities and this can happen through the FIJA Activism.
